1 Birla Mandir:
This temple was built in 1976 by the Birla Foundation. This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala. The location of the temple is on the top of a 280 feet tall hill.
This hill is named 'Naubat Pahad', and one can see both Hyderabad and Secundrabad from here. This temple is one of the best places to escape the chaos of the city and indulge in prayer and peaceful meditation.
2 Chowmahalla Palace
Chowmahalla Palace is a sight to behold! Built between the years 1857 and 1869, it was the seat for the Asif Jahi dynasty. This palace is a delicate work of art consisting of domes, arches, windows, and meticulous designs.
It also has fountains, lush gardens clock tower, Roshan Bangla, Council House, and much more. It also has two massive courtyards along with a grand dining hall which is called "Khilawat".
3 Charminar
Think landmark of Hyderabad, think Charminar! Located in the heart of Hyderabad, this was constructed in 1591 by Quli Qutub Shah to signify Hyderabad. It is famous for its appeal in the chaotic traffic surrounding it and also for the markets around.
The 'Laad Bazaar' and the 'Chudi Bazaar' are one of the oldest existing markets here. It stands there at the center of the city to remind you about the glorious days of the past. It is added to the list of World Heritage Sites.
4 Mecca Masjid:
One of the oldest and largest mosques in the city, Muhammed Quli Qutub Shah commissioned its construction. Mecca-Masjid was completely built in the year 1694.
The mosque is a sight to behold, and it can accommodate around 10,000 people at a time.
5 Laad Bazaar
Located on the west face of Charminar, lies a historic market known for souvenirs and bangles.
This is one of the oldest markets in Hyderabad, and it has been running since the last days of Qutub Shahis and the Nizams. The name 'Laad' comes from the lacquer which is used to make bangles. This place is visited by thousands of shoppers and tourists every day.
6 Salarjung Museum
This museum is noted to be the third-largest museum in India. It is the biggest collection of antiques made by one-man. Mir Yousuf Ali Khan was the person behind this huge collection, and he was also known as Salar Jung III. The Salar Jung Family sourced the collection for the museum. Located by the Musi River, Salar Jung Museum is situated in Darushifa.
The total area is 10 Acres, and it has two floors. The most price possession of this museum is the Veiled Rebecca, Double Statue of Mephistopheles & Margaretta a musical clock dating back to the 19th century consisting of more than 350 parts.
7 Golconda Fort:
Golconda fort was constructed on a hilltop in west Hyderabad in 1143. It was originally known as Mankal. Though it was constructed in the 1100s, the fort was fortified between 14th and 17th centuries. The inner structure consists of ruins of courtyards, palaces, pavilions, etc.
